Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of equipment technicians in achieving up time, output, yield, quality and cost targets.
- Take full accountability for his assigned equipment.
- Maximize the utilization of resources to achieve high operating efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain sustainable manufacturing equipment to achieve targeted performance index.
- Drive permanent solutions to resolve equipment issues.
- Drive/contribute in improvement projects on equipment up time, OEE, spare parts and costs.
- Build strong equipment knowledge base.
- Effective vendor management.
- Drive/contribute in cost reduction, weed out unwarranted expenses/wastages and improve equipment performance.
- Drive/contribute in equipment fault investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve chronic equipment issues, and institute permanent resolutions to assure product quality and enhance process robustness.
- Enforce on equipment maintenance controls and execution to conform to work instructions and procedures. Apply hands-on and with deep involvement at work.
- Guide and train technicians in equipment problem solving and analysis to build up their technical competencies and achieve self-sustenance.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge in semiconductor process technology.
- Possess strong technical competencies in his field of study.
- Good knowledge of statistical and quality tools.
- Able to work under pressure and with strong commitment at work.
- Experience with computer systems and proficient with software applications such as MS Power Point, Excel and Word.
- Relevant knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, and good team player.
- Systematic troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Application of quality and SPC tools at work.
- Dynamic, resourceful, creative, innovative and self-driven.
- A strong analytical mind and able to organize works to identify the root cause of problems.
