Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for allocating responsibilities and overseeing operations for assigned area and lines whilst monitoring productivity rates against established targets
- Oversight of materials management and reviews the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for materials management and cleaning activities
- Propose and implement improvements to production workflows, equipment and systems to achieve production targets in a timely manner
- Comply strictly with highly regulated standards
- Lead and drive collaborative efforts required to deliver quality and compliance performance for shift
- Initiate, manage and make decisions which impact product quality
- Model and promote behaviors that ensure delivery of high quality products for our customers while championing compliance with Abbott policies and procedures, meeting all local and statutory requirements
- Accountable for shopfloor incident investigation and reporting for assigned area, coupled with timely escalation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Track, trend and continuously improve performance for overtime, OEE, production (unit/hour, pound/hour), MUV, Scrap and CIP for assigned areas
- Promoted and drive continuous improvement programs using Operational Excellence tools and methodologies in processes/procedures in the shift for root cause analysis and resolution of issues
- Drive OEE performance, understand the drivers, and develop and execute plans around improvement of line performance and quality metrics with support from direct manager
Requirements
- Diploma with minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated industry
- Possess excellent oral and written communication
