Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative sales and marketing strategies tailored for the ASEAN and India regions, overseeing the Policy PDCA cycle, organizing key business strategic events, ensuring effective inter-division and cross-country coordination, monitoring budget allocations, and managing complex logistical arrangements.

  • Spearhead the development of Initial Annual Policies and Mid-term Directional Strategies, while also outlining a visionary framework for the Director of the ASEAN and India Regional Management Company (RMC).
  • Assess future business environment scenarios to propose dynamic organizational designs and human resource strategies that are proactive and responsive to anticipated shifts in market conditions.
  • Create effective strategies to engage key high-value clients and improve the performance of six Overseas Sales Affiliates (OSA), understanding local market factors and building customized approaches to strengthen relationships with distributors.
  • Oversee the Policy PDCA Cycle, facilitating quarterly review meetings with Japan Headquarters' Sales Division to critically assess performance metrics, evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, and implement responsive adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for various initiatives with Japan Headquarters, fostering clear communication channels and ensuring that strategic objectives are effectively shared and pursued across organizational tiers.
  • Oversee critical customer support initiatives, including the Customer Support Conference and the Complaint Handling Award program led by Japan Headquarters, ensuring high service quality and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Design robust educational programs aimed at enhancing staff development and competencies in sales and marketing planning, focusing on cultivating skills that will empower teams to achieve higher performance levels and innovative thinking.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a strategically-oriented role, with a proven track record in strategy development and implementation.
  • Essential experience within the Electronics Industry, reflecting a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory environments, and technological advancements.
  • Willingness to travel within ASEAN and India.
  • Proficiency in advanced Strategic Marketing methodologies (PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces, BCG Matrix, McKinsey 7S, SWOT, BMC, BSC).
  • Previous management experience in a global corporation is highly advantageous.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities, able to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
