Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and drive cross-functional cost saving projects to achieve corporate business goals
- Understand short-term and long-term cost saving goals and ensure alignment to corporate business goals
- Perform cost and schedule duties under the guidance from corporate. Manages cost control to be presented to Fab GM and Senior Management.
- Manage program / cost saving project benefit and develop key metrics / performance indices.
- Analyze program / cost saving project progress in terms of pay-back assessment, risk, resources consumption, interdependence and gaps.
- Define cost estimation scope, clearly document assumptions and constraints, develop costing methodologies, and align all stakeholders with the outcome.
- Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs and reports, perform performance monitoring and control functions for projects.
- Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, deliverables, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Establish structure and manage program dependencies, prioritize programs, track program milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure delivery / completion to the project work
- Provide cost control and planning advice to the operation team when required
- Identify potential roadblocks, develop and execute resolution plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with exposure to wafer fab operations.
- Prior experience in capacity planning, cycle time management, WIP control, and productivity optimization within a fab environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of IE methodologies, including line balancing, bottleneck management, and cost modelling.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and systems (e.g., JMP, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, MES such as PROMIS).
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- High level of accountability, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
