Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, and balance-of-system components.
- Supervise and manage contractors to ensure quality of workmanship, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Conduct site audits to assess work quality, safety standards, and compliance with approved SOPs, WIs, and SWPs.
- Act as a Train-the-Trainer resource by guiding and mentoring contractors in technical troubleshooting and best practices.
- Ensure contractors submit weekly and monthly reports accurately and on time.
- Support the development, implementation, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
- Liaise with external parties including authorities, town councils, customers, and utility providers for site access and permits.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in solar PV O&M, electrical maintenance, or related technical fields.
- Hands-on knowledge of solar PV systems (modules, inverters, racking, protection systems, monitoring platforms).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive, proactive, and safety-oriented work attitude.
- Willingness to provide weekend and overtime (OT) support when required for critical issues.
