Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, code, implement, and troubleshoot tax based desktop, client-server and/or web based applications
- Maintenance and improvements of existing applications
- Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements
- Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the applications
Requirements
- Hold at least a diploma in Computer Science / IT related
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Java)
- Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Be familiar with some of the following concepts and technologies: Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Transaction and Analytics, Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling and database design, Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing patterns, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), N-tier and N-layered architecture, MVC architecture
- Be familiar with some of the following technologies: Visual Studio, SQL Server, Microsoft Excel and Word, Crystal Reports and/or ActiveReports, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Microsoft Azure
