Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams from early-stage silicon bring-up through post-silicon validation efforts.
- Evaluate integrated system performance by testing and characterizing hardware/software interactions.
- Assess device performance across various operating conditions, including voltage, process, and thermal variations.
- Work with production test teams to develop effective production screens for system-level issues.
- Analyze specifications and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and execute system-level validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related field.
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in System/SW/bench test/HW-SW interaction testing, preferably in mobile devices or microprocessor industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Android Architecture, Boot process, Kernel, Core BSP, and Android Performance.
- Hands-on debug and triage experience using Android debugging tools and/or JTAG Lauterbach/Trace32.
- Experience characterizing Processor, PCIe, Graphics, Memory, Thermal, and Power performance of ASICs.
- Experience developing and executing test cases for Android-based devices.
- Experience with production testing environments, including Gauge R&R, shop-floor support, and handling OSATS.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills to debug system-level failures and devise technical solutions.
- Good system-level understanding of hardware platforms with peripherals like PCIe, DDR, UFS, USB, Display, and Camera.
