Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with product users, engineering, operations, GFIT, and stakeholders to translate needs into machine learning or statistical problems
- Define product goals and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop analytical frameworks, models, roadmaps, and metrics for the team and broader organization
- Develop project schedules, facilitate release and sprint planning, and conduct demos with stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact between executives and team members, reporting status and ensuring delivery on schedule and budget
- Plan resourcing for the team, create requests, and onboard new members
- Ensure data products meet security, privacy, and compliance standards
- Drive selection of solution options by collaborating with data stewards, engineers, scientists, and translators
- Drive engagement with third parties to support team objectives
- Own and manage project-related documentation and oversee deployment including user-centered design and change management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading cross-functional agile product or solution development teams with demonstrated success
- Broad knowledge in business, analytics (e.g., machine learning, statistics), data engineering, and technology
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions
- Experience in setting team priorities, managing product backlogs/release plans, tracking team metrics, and removing blockers
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and what makes teams successful, with focus on business agility and measurable outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
