Key Responsibilities
- Design portions of engineering solutions for mechatronic systems, mechanical hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling.
- Support system-level and control-related design considerations, including servo motion, actuation, power, and integrated mechanical behaviors.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design margin assessments, and analytical evaluations on new and modified designs.
- Develop and apply simulation models, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural, thermal, vibration, and durability assessments.
- Explore and apply AI-driven techniques to accelerate simulation workflows and enable design optimization.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.
- Manage engineering change processes and drive value engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics of materials, kinematics, and materials engineering.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with understanding of mechanical and thermal material properties.
- Hands-on engineering capability regarding hardware, prototypes, testing, and failure investigation.
