Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic implementation of ASM’s supply chain decarbonization roadmap to support SBTi‑verified Net Zero targets
- Partner with Global Supply Chain to embed carbon‑intensity targets and sustainability criteria into supplier selection, evaluation, and contracting
- Drive ASM’s sponsorship of the Schneider Electric Catalyze program, including supplier recruitment and education for renewable energy PPAs
- Identify opportunities for Ecodesign and sustainable materials within the product portfolio, focusing on low‑carbon and circular procurement
- Design and deliver capability‑building programs for internal supply chain teams and strategic suppliers on advanced sustainability topics
- Lead the SCORE program, acting as a technical advisor to suppliers on renewable energy adoption and carbon‑abatement strategies
- Develop and maintain ASM’s Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodology by linking complex BOM data to verified life‑cycle emission factors
- Support and guide Supply Chain Sustainability team members to drive effective day‑to‑day execution
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainability and/or supply chain management within high‑tech industries such as semiconductor, electronics, or capital equipment
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sustainability programs
- Strong influencing skills with experience guiding senior leaders at supplier organizations
- Experience contributing to industry coalitions such as SCC or RBA
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20%
- Experience developing or applying Product Carbon Footprint methodologies
- Knowledge of renewable energy procurement models, including utility‑scale PPAs
- Experience designing supplier capability‑building or advisory programs
- Prior involvement with programs such as Catalyze, SCC working groups, or RBA task forces
