Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers
- Duties may be related to the selection, Assembly, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving
- Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance
- Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, repair, and packaging of parts/equipment within designated manufacturing areas
- Conduct tests, experiments, and troubleshooting activities related to components, parts, products, and manufacturing systems
- Adhere to established safety protocols, operational procedures, and production schedules to ensure timely and compliant output
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with 5S and/or GMP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient workflow, rapid issue resolution, and smooth overall operations
Requirements
- May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically minimum of 3 years relevant experience for entry to this level
