Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily progress of RMA evaluations for returned products.
- Evaluate customer returns using advanced tools (ATE, XRAY, CSAM, IV curve, bench tests) to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Qualcomm, Product Core Team, and Branch CQE to optimize processes.
- Track actions, schedules, and owners for timely RMA analysis and initiate necessary corrective actions.
- Enhance quality systems to proactively reduce outgoing product DPPM (Defects Per Million).
- Produce detailed 8D reports for problem-solving teams and management.
- Provide prompt updates to customers regarding open quality issues or support requests.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical/Computer/Communication Engineering (MS preferred).
- 5+ years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 4 years in customer support, quality engineering, or product testing.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems (IVI, ADAS, connectivity) and related product issues.
- Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (Agilent Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, VNA).
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes related to customer issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear articulation of technical information.
