Key Responsibilities

  • Manage via direct reports the coordination of activities assuming responsibility for team results, coaching & mentoring of individual members, performance evaluations, and career growth development
  • Implement operational and strategic policies, assigning work in the form of broad objectives to manage resources and achieve group goals
  • Lead your team to serve as the principal technical authority and strategic advisor for VCF and Add-ons technologies, driving forward-thinking technical insights and architectural vision
  • Oversee and advise on technical engagements, including architecture workshops and product roadmap discussions
  • Drive the goal of establishing VCF as the essential, unified cloud platform that underpins and accelerates the customer's enterprise-wide digital transformation and modernization initiatives
  • Ensure the team is knowledgeable of the competition, can identify lockout specifications, and actively communicates the company's competitive advantage

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree
  • Certifications in VMware technologies, cloud-native, public cloud and networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Red Hat OpenShift, CCIE etc.) are highly desirable
  • Recognized internally and externally as a technical or business leader, utilizing skills to contribute to company objectives in creative and effective ways
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods to obtain solutions and deliver outcomes
  • Capable of setting direction for high-impact and/or long-range strategic and technical projects
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management
  • Proven history working on advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical knowledge
