Key Responsibilities
- ARTC is looking for a motivated, innovative quick learner with excellent interpersonal skills to join the Remanufacturing Process Technology Group (RPT) - Intelligent Remanufacturing Process Team.
- The successful candidate will have opportunities to participate in research and industry projects related to process control and automation design, leveraging on data informed AI decision making with process automation.
- The following areas will be included and mentored by scientists and senior staff:
- To develop and maintain automation architecture, including control loops, instrumentation, hardware, and communication networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
- Experiences in R&D or industrial manufacturing environment
- Experiences with design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks will be a plus
- Experiences with welding, WAAM, or other manufacturing processes will be a plus
- Experiences with coding for control and automation and knowledge on AI libraries and tool for data processing
- Understands design process control, system integration, automation, PLC control, machine to machine communication, and signal processing
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic environment with cross-functional project teams
- Able to critically think of solutions outside the box and communicate effectively
