Key Responsibilities

  • Set targets and goals for the section to minimize wafer scrap, equipment cost per wafer, and optimize equipment capability and utilization
  • Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for issue closure
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and conduct self-audits to update specifications per TS16949 quality standards
  • Develop long-term solutions to address recurring hardware issues and resolve chronic department equipment problems

Requirements

  • PhD, MSc, or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Expertise in EPI (epitaxy) processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across different cultures
  • Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FDC, ECMS, and statistical analysis tools for equipment optimization
