Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team to meet performance work schedules considering customer requirements and resource availability

  • Ensure statutory and company regulations compliance with airworthiness standards for repairs and limits
  • Lead repair design and structural analysis for technical data needs as a subject matter expert
  • Trend hardware distress to inform spare provisioning and repair limits based on metrology and observed trends
  • Interface with CIPT/CAIPT/Shops to secure priorities and conduct engine investigations
  • Conduct repair process standard work reviews and lead technology projects in support of shops
  • Foster creative technical ownership and drive continuous improvement (CORE) initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical & Production, Materials)
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in Aftermarket/MRO or 10 years with an Advanced Degree
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial gas turbine engines
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers
  • Demonstrated communication skills in written and oral presentation
  • Business judgment, results-driven mindset, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s with 2nd upper qualification or above
  • Preferred: Experience with Project Management and CORE/continuous improvement systems
