Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team to meet performance work schedules considering customer requirements and resource availability
- Support customers in resolving field supportability issues with timely hardware disposition to minimize workscope and cost
- Ensure statutory and company regulations compliance with airworthiness standards for repairs and limits
- Lead repair design and structural analysis for technical data needs as a subject matter expert
- Trend hardware distress to inform spare provisioning and repair limits based on metrology and observed trends
- Interface with CIPT/CAIPT/Shops to secure priorities and conduct engine investigations
- Conduct repair process standard work reviews and lead technology projects in support of shops
- Foster creative technical ownership and drive continuous improvement (CORE) initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical & Production, Materials)
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Aftermarket/MRO or 10 years with an Advanced Degree
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial gas turbine engines
- Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers
- Demonstrated communication skills in written and oral presentation
- Business judgment, results-driven mindset, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Preferred: Bachelor’s with 2nd upper qualification or above
- Preferred: Experience with Project Management and CORE/continuous improvement systems
