Key Responsibilities

  • Implement equipment improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction
  • Forecast financial budgets and set up tracking systems for equipment expenditures
  • Provide feedback and training to AEs and TAs on troubleshooting, decision making, and risk assessment
  • Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for issue closure
  • Set expectations and conduct performance appraisals for technicians or AEs as instructed

Requirements

  • PhD, MSc, or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics
  • 5-8 years of experience in the Electrical/Electronics industry
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve complex equipment and process problems
  • Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FDC, ECMS, and statistical analysis tools for equipment optimization
  • Experience in coaching engineers and providing technical guidance
  • Familiarity with TS16949 quality standards and audit processes
  • Skills in vendor liaison, spare parts management, and equipment performance improvement
  • Ability to set targets, goals, and projects to minimize wafer scrap and optimize equipment utilization
