Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and review complex financial models to evaluate project feasibility, financial performance, investment returns, and conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses for greenfield, brownfield project finance, M&A transactions and strategic partnerships across urban development, water and utilities verticals
  • Conduct research on industry landscape, competitor analysis, market trends; assessment of commercial viability, perform financial and credit analyses and valuation of companies/assets, including research on relevant market and transaction comparables; and identifying the key risks and potential mitigants in transactions
  • Provide execution support including the evaluation of deal structure, highlight project risks and identify potential mitigation strategies, coordination of the various due diligence workstreams and review of transaction documentation
  • Preparation of presentation and materials on business strategy and live projects for engaging internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Markets/Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Tax, to ensure seamless execution of transactions

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration / Economics / Engineering
  • Possess 10 years of experience, with minimum 5-8 years of financial modelling experience in a Project Finance / M&A / Valuation / Transaction Advisory / Investment Banking / Buyside role
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Financial modelling techniques and tools, including use of VBA macros, or other Excel add-ins
  • Experience in the real estate, infrastructure and utilities verticals will be an advantage
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in outputs
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
