Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain and review complex financial models to evaluate project feasibility, financial performance, investment returns, and conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses for greenfield, brownfield project finance, M&A transactions and strategic partnerships across urban development, water and utilities verticals
Conduct research on industry landscape, competitor analysis, market trends; assessment of commercial viability, perform financial and credit analyses and valuation of companies/assets, including research on relevant market and transaction comparables; and identifying the key risks and potential mitigants in transactions
Provide execution support including the evaluation of deal structure, highlight project risks and identify potential mitigation strategies, coordination of the various due diligence workstreams and review of transaction documentation
Preparation of presentation and materials on business strategy and live projects for engaging internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Markets/Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Tax, to ensure seamless execution of transactions

Requirements

Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration / Economics / Engineering
Possess 10 years of experience, with minimum 5-8 years of financial modelling experience in a Project Finance / M&A / Valuation / Transaction Advisory / Investment Banking / Buyside role
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Financial modelling techniques and tools, including use of VBA macros, or other Excel add-ins
Experience in the real estate, infrastructure and utilities verticals will be an advantage
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in outputs
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
