Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repair, refurbishment, and modification of high-temperature dies using appropriate tooling and techniques.
  • Operate and maintain a range of equipment including 5-axis CNC machines, wire-cut machines (EDM), lathes, and drilling machines.
  • Conduct geometric inspection and measurement analysis using high-precision inspection equipment.
  • Interpret and execute tasks based on technical drawings, written technique sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and problem-solving on the shopfloor.
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, 5S practices, and all health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tool and die, machining, or precision engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 of the following: CNC machining (preferably 5-axis), Wire cutting (EDM), Lathe/milling operations, or Welding.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Strong hands-on technical capability with various tools and machines.
  • High attention to precision, detail, and quality in all tasks.
