Key Responsibilities
- Perform repair, refurbishment, and modification of high-temperature dies using appropriate tooling and techniques.
- Operate and maintain a range of equipment including 5-axis CNC machines, wire-cut machines (EDM), lathes, and drilling machines.
- Conduct geometric inspection and measurement analysis using high-precision inspection equipment.
- Interpret and execute tasks based on technical drawings, written technique sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and problem-solving on the shopfloor.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, 5S practices, and all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tool and die, machining, or precision engineering.
- Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 of the following: CNC machining (preferably 5-axis), Wire cutting (EDM), Lathe/milling operations, or Welding.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Strong hands-on technical capability with various tools and machines.
- High attention to precision, detail, and quality in all tasks.
