Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed electrical failure analysis using SOM, Thermal Microscope, FIB, SEM, AFP, XRM, CSAM, and OM analytical tools
  • Generate EFA reports upon completion of analysis jobs
  • Provide FA advice and support to Fab Ops and TD on defect pareto buildup for yield enhancement and root cause investigation
  • Develop new failure analysis techniques to support emerging technologies
  • Mentor Engr/Sr. AE/AE on skillset development and create EFA analysis SOPs
  • Ensure EFA equipment upkeep, tool uptime, safety, and housekeeping

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master/PhD in Engineering or Sciences
  • 5 years of relevant experience in failure analysis or related field
  • Familiarity with electrical parameters, IC testing, fault diagnosis, and failure analysis techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Interest in IC failure analysis and/or chemical analysis
