Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead initiatives that optimize Gross-To-Net performance and SG&A efficiency with enhanced internal controls
- Deliver independent, high-impact assessments to Senior Management on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks
- Lead the design and implementation of robust governance and control frameworks across Pacific Asia
- Drive initiatives that enhance financial discipline and operational integrity, with a focus on ensuring trade claim accuracy, prudent accrual practices, rigorous channel inventory compliance, and pre-activity fund commitment approvals
- Lead ongoing evaluations of key business processes across Pacific Asia to proactively identify operational and control gaps
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance process efficiency, governance, and risk mitigation
- Ensure timely issuance of comprehensive reports to senior stakeholders, delivering actionable insights
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance to PA affiliates in the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations
- Lead audit readiness efforts by aligning local processes with corporate standards and proactively preparing for upcoming audits
- Act as the primary liaison with regional and divisional teams for audit-related initiatives and cross-functional projects
- Identify capability gaps and procedural inefficiencies across Pacific Asia operations and recommend targeted training programs and process enhancements
- Establish clear alignment and partnership with the Corporate Finance Services (CFS) organization to define and delineate roles and responsibilities
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years' work experience in relevant industry in finance/accounting at a senior level with evident success
- Candidates with prior experience in the Nutrition or FMCG industry will be preferred
- Prior experience managing control processes at large Corporation is a plus
- Affinity with general IT and information systems (SAP and Oracle)
- Familiar with general accounting standards
- Good understanding of the key processes of an organization
- Experience with risk-based auditing techniques and procedures, gained through internal or external audit assignments
- Have experience and being able to analyze and interpret complex problems/data gathered from a variety of sources
- Through effective decision-making and planning, delivers superior business solutions
- Have experience and demonstrate ability to effectively communicate to a diverse stakeholder, at multiple levels with a company through various format
