Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage progress, and update sales volume & amount budgets to notify stakeholders of the latest status and plan profit-maximization-strategies in line with market conditions.
  • Understand the business environment through analysis of customers and competitors, formulate and implement pricing policies to expand market share. This includes regular price negotiations, daily quotations, distributor pricing book, and all other price-related tasks.
  • Take actions to meet both short-term and long-term product demand needs of customers, aiming to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations to customers about business conditions, environmental initiatives, and other factors, to contribute to enhancing Murata's brand value by offering those qualitative value.
  • Utilize knowledge of factory production processes and statuses, sales and logistics knowledge, tax law knowledge, among others as references to formulate opinions on agreements between Murata and customers. This aims to improve both sales activities and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to cross-organizational activities by creating reports on necessary analyses or information for sales teams, business units, factories, and other stakeholders, sharing them in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Accounting and Mathematics related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel (mandatory).
  • Good in writing and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Positive attitude, highly adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable-driven workplace.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills – required to work with managers and colleagues across different departments/ ability to work as part of a global team and organization.
  • Equip with logistical thinking and analytical skills to analyses data and create understandable reports and metrics.
