Key Responsibilities
- Work with product architects in early definition stage to understand and define Test strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate with silicon design, product & test, and packaging teams to architect & define test solutions for silicon photonics at wafer sort, die-level, and CPO-level
- Collaborate with design, packaging, and key suppliers to understand structural and parametric mechanisms for performance, yield, reliability, and quality issues
- Interface with suppliers to provide technical inputs & test requirements to enable production-worthy end-to-end solutions
- Deep knowledge to train other teams & engineers in the field of silicon photonics from design, packaging, to volume test
- Responsible for identifying & mitigating test challenges and executing large technical projects and processes in a timely manner
- Design Optical Test and work with external vendors to develop the eco-system
Requirements
- Prior experience developing photonics coupler assembly, test, DFM
- Optical interconnects and silicon photonics experiences
- Familiar with general test & manufacturing of silicon photonics
- Experiences in semiconductor technology development role and experiences working with manufacturing partners such as suppliers, OSATs and foundry partners
- Hands on leadership experience driving cross-functional teams
- Proven track of leading technology qualification for advanced data-center products
- BS/MS/PhD in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
