Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of mechanical systems including cleanroom, Chiller, Cooling tower, HVAC, CRAC, PCW, CDA, Process Vacuum, Exhausts, and Fire protection.
- Manage mechanical system operations and reliability, monitoring performance metrics and troubleshooting issues for continuous efficient operation.
- Manage mechanical system service contracts and oversee in-house contractors to ensure compliance with service standards.
- Manage Operations & Maintenance activities and monitor spare parts inventory to minimize operational risks.
- Lead mechanical system projects, from feasibility study through design review, execution, commissioning, and final buy-off.
- Maintain accurate mechanical system documentation, drawings, and technical reports for regulatory submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on mechanical system efficiency, sustainability, and cost reduction.
- Validate designs and monitor site work during construction to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a related field.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including cleanroom HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, piping, heat exchangers, exhaust, and process vacuum systems.
- Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical issues in a 24/7 environment.
- Ability to review and evaluate mechanical designs, layouts, and vendor proposals for mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for cross-departmental and authority collaboration.
