Key Responsibilities
- Work with product architects in the early definition stage to understand and define the Test strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate with silicon design, product & test, and packaging teams to architect and define test solutions for silicon photonics at wafer sort, die-level, and CPO-level.
- Collaborate with design, packaging, and key suppliers to understand structural and parametric mechanisms for performance, yield, reliability, and quality issues.
- Interface with suppliers to provide technical inputs and test requirements necessary to enable production-worthy end-to-end solutions.
- Train other teams and engineers in the field of silicon photonics, covering design, packaging, to volume test.
- Identify and mitigate test challenges while executing large technical projects and processes in a timely manner.
- Design Optical Test solutions and work with external vendors to develop the ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven engineering experience in semiconductor test with a focus on silicon photonics.
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex test and manufacturing challenges for various silicon photonics & optical interconnect technologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse teams.
- Capability to define long-term test solutions.
- BS/MS/PhD in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
