Key Responsibilities
- Assist Workshop Engineers and Assistant Foreman in daily operational duties
- Perform engine repair duties including cleaning, blasting, scrubbing, and inspection of modules, parts, and components
- Support and participate in EH&S and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
- Carry out housekeeping and other workshop activities as instructed by the Supervisor
- Maintain tooling and fixture and perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience in disassembly, assembly, inspection, repair, or testing in the aerospace industry
- Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- High level of integrity, accountability, and drive to complete tasks
- Ability to display Continuous Improvement competencies
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and support rotating shift work
