Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of electrical systems for buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and auxiliary services
- Support the assigned mentor in performing electrical design calculations, such as load demand estimation, voltage drop analysis, and fault current calculations
- Assist in preparing electrical drawings and schematics using ElectricalOM, Dialux, and other relevant design tools
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation in accordance with local codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate electrical design inputs with other building services such as HVAC, plumbing, and structural teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Participate in project discussions and assist in resolving design-related issues
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all design work and documentation
Requirements
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documents
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to produce accurate design documentation
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a dynamic project environment
- Ability to manage tasks responsibly and meet project timelines under supervision
