Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate operational needs, business requirements, and innovation concepts into structured system designs and technical solutions.
- Define the system architectures for the Lab’s platforms and innovation demonstrators, collaborating to build consensus on approaches.
- Guide engineering teams through design, integration, and technical decision-making processes.
- Lead selected technical projects and coordinate engineering activities within an agile, cross-functional multinational team.
- Ensure coherence across airline and avionics systems, cloud platforms, data services, and communication infrastructures.
Requirements
- 6+ years in system engineering or architecture roles.
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of aircraft systems and airline/avionics environments.
- Proven experience in solution architecture design (Workflow, Data, System, and Cloud Architecture) for complex aviation systems.
- Familiarity with avionics communication data exchanges principles.
- Demonstrated experience assessing the cybersecurity of cloud technologies and architectures.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, aviation systems integration, APIs, and data platforms.
