Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues at the system, instrument, and sub-assembly levels.
- Perform structured failure analysis to identify root causes and implement short-term containment and long-term corrective actions for Yield Improvement and Product Quality.
- Design, refine, and standardize system and module-level test procedures to ensure test integrity while optimizing cycle time.
- Track reliability and quality trends; drive improvements to meet or exceed Agilent’s operational and customer expectations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve OOBD (Out-of-Box Defect) and reliability metrics.
- Participate in transitioning designs from prototype to volume manufacturing, ensuring test readiness and manufacturability.
- Ensure adherence to Agilent’s quality systems through proper execution of test methods and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system test, electronic test, or related engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with electronic circuits, system troubleshooting, and defect analysis.
- Proficiency with RF and mixed-signal test equipment including spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and LCR meters.
- Solid understanding of RF circuits, impedance concepts, High-voltage modules, and Mixed-signal interfaces (ADCs, DACs).
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis (pivot tables, trend charts, statistical analysis).
