Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Utilities Excellence program for the plan and execute plant wide energy improvement projects which includes RCE preparation and submission
  • Identify energy savings opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy efficient operation
  • Conduct energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs, or conservation measures
  • Perform energy modeling, measurement, verification, commissioning
  • Conduct onsite observations, field inspections, or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses
  • Inspect or monitor energy systems, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or daylighting systems to determine energy use or potential energy savings
  • Evaluate construction design information such as detail and assembly drawings, design calculations, system layouts and sketches, or specifications
  • Prepare project reports and other program or technical documentation
  • Review or negotiate energy purchase agreements
  • Conduct research or collect data on renewable or alternative energy systems and assess feasibility for site implementation
  • Establish multi-discipline site energy team to drive success of site energy management program and ISO 50001
  • Organize and lead weekly and monthly site energy team meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree majoring in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Chemical, Environmental or related discipline
  • Diploma with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Singapore Certified Energy Manager certification preferred
  • Water Efficiency Manager certification preferred
  • Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Ability to organize, motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Mentoring and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of cGMP is highly preferred
