Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the information security 'partner' for agile project teams on all security-related matters.
  • Contribute to the information security strategy and drive agile security process improvements.
  • Ensure fundamental requirements and state-of-the-art engineering are considered during solution design and development.
  • Formalize and implement allocated security requirements into solution elements, including verification criteria.
  • Understand security requirements and provide support for IT Security work packages in bids and projects.
  • Provide security consultancy to internal teams regarding project or business opportunity security needs.
  • Perform security risk assessments for projects and systems, recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact on security matters for customers, addressing queries and providing solutions.
  • Work with internal and external teams to implement proposed security solutions (e.g., host-based endpoint protection, network firewalls, SIEM, 2FA).
  • Perform security audits or reviews of systems to highlight compliance gaps.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in the IT Security domain.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in at least 2 of the following domains: Application security, Network security, System security, Data security, and/or Cloud security.
  • Must hold an internationally recognized professional security certification such as CISSP or CISA.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build beneficial relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Readiness to perform under time pressure and adapt quickly to project demands.
