Key Responsibilities
- Perform Signal Integrity and Power Integrity simulations across feasibility, pre-layout, and post-layout phases for AECG characterization and demo board designs.
- Establish and maintain design and layout guidelines related to SI/PI issues.
- Coordinate with HW design, layout, NPI, and manufacturing vendors to resolve SI/PI related issues.
- Conduct end-to-end channel simulations for multi-gigabit serial lines (e.g., 56Gbps, 112Gbps and beyond).
- Perform PI analysis simulations for memory buses including HBM, DDR4, DDR5, and LPDDR4/LPDDR5.
- Characterize various product interfaces and verify simulations against physical measurements.
- Prepare and implement checklists for different stages of PCB development.
- Collaborate with architecture, package design, and PCB design teams on future PCB technology advancements.
- Update and automate the SIPI design and analysis flow.
Requirements
- Passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and signal/power integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across different sites/timezones.
- Willingness to learn and readiness to take on complex technical problems.
- MS + 3 or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
