Key Responsibilities
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by identifying and eliminating unwarranted expenses/wastages and improving processes with innovative solutions.
- Lead quality investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve chronic process issues and institute permanent resolutions for enhanced product quality.
- Enforce on-line controls and execution to ensure strict conformity with work instructions and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze SPC charts to drive continuous process control improvements.
- Ensure effective and timely disposition of on-hold lots.
- Conduct regular reviews of OCAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Process control, Risk Assessment, and SIPOC on all critical processes.
- Guide and train technicians in processes, problem-solving, and analysis to build technical competencies.
- Ensure proper and effective handling of all non-conformances.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Possess strong technical competencies in the field of study.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process technology is required.
- Good knowledge of statistical and quality tools.
- Ability to apply quality and SPC tools in a practical work setting.
- Strong analytical mind with the ability to organize work to identify root causes of problems.
- Proven systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
