As an MTS ATE Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and driving advanced ATE test solutions to meet critical NPI business milestones and KPI metrics across next-generation processors for automotive, high-end networking, storage, industrial, aerospace, and defense applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive test solution/coverage development and optimization to meet business milestones including schedule, test time, yield, cost, and quality.
  • Lead Pre-Silicon engagement with Design on test solution/methodology scoping, planning, and validation.
  • Manage Post Silicon Bring up of test patterns and calibration enablement leading to mass production optimization.
  • Optimize test coverage and flows for improvements in quality, yield, cost reduction, and test time.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis to drive closure of technical issues during NPI and sustaining phases.
  • Solve complex, novel, and non-recurring technical problems, initiating significant changes to existing processes/methods.
  • Influence technical decisions that have a significant impact on the final product.
  • Provide technical supervision or mentoring to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Proficient understanding of DFT (Design-For-Test) architecture for SOC (System-On-Chip) products.
  • Strong experience in test development, Silicon characterization/debug using industry standard ATE platforms.
  • Proven track record in NPI experience implementing ATE Test patterns, calibration test flows/method development, debug, and characterization.
  • Ability to collaborate across DFT, CT IP, Product & Test Engineering, Quality & Reliability, and software teams.
  • Strong technical, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent and resourceful work ethic.
