Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the operation and maintenance of Clean Utilities and HVAC systems
  • Raising and leading the Quality Event (Deviation) process
  • Raising and leading Change Control for equipment/facilities changes
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding equipment operating outside expected parameters
  • Developing preventive, predictive maintenance and calibration programs
  • Reviewing and analyzing HVAC and Clean Utility systems trends for improvement
  • Escalating unresolved issues to department Lead/Manager
  • Developing/revising operation and maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and LOTO procedures
  • Planning/reviewing equipment isolation, LOTO, and supporting Permit-to-Work issuance
  • Performing equipment operation checks post-maintenance prior to return to operation
  • Providing technical support and training to Utilities Senior Associate/Associate Engineer
  • Leading continuous improvement or asset improvement projects (e.g., energy reduction & CAPS)

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical/Chemical engineering or equivalent Engineering Discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (with degree)
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical engineering or equivalent Engineering Discipline
  • >5 years of experience (with diploma)
  • Strong technical and safety knowledge in Utilities or Facilities Management
  • Experience in Utilities or Facilities Management
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across teams/departments
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work amid shifting demands and tight deadlines
  • Continuous Improvement and Project experience
  • Steam Engineer Class 2 certification (preferred)
  • Leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Good operational knowledge of HVAC and Clean Utility systems
  • Strong equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Good writing skills for investigations, reports, and proposals
  • Interpersonal skills and stakeholder management ability
