Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising and inspecting construction work to ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements.

  • Conduct inspections of material/workmanship sample tests, including overseas fabrication yard inspections when required.
  • Prepare defect lists and ensure rectification works are carried out satisfactorily.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience as an RTO.
  • At least five (5) years in site management and supervision of major construction works (buildings, earthworks, drainage, pavements).
  • Diploma from a Polytechnic, BCA Academy, or other relevant qualifications.
  • Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
  • Possess a valid Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Certificate.
  • Conversant with contract administration, statutory requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, and progress report submission.
  • Willingness to perform overtime and/or shift work when required.
