Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair all instruments and equipment in the Pilot Plant.
  • Decide on troubleshooting approaches and determine when external resources (mechanical, instrument, automation, electrical) are required.
  • Coordinate with external resources to troubleshoot and repair equipment and instruments.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance activities on plant equipment.
  • Assist Mechanical Technicians with disassembling and re-assembling equipment for cleanouts during product changeovers.
  • Calibrate and set up instruments prior to new product campaigns.
  • Carry out implementation activities for minor plant modifications and capital projects according to specifications.
  • Communicate with the Shift Superintendent to prioritize maintenance activities and report on progress/escalations.
  • Maintain quality in all aspects of maintenance work impacting product quality, adhering to the permit-to-work system.

Requirements

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
  • NTC/ITC/Diploma in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or Bio-processing related disciplines.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
  • Strong hands-on attitude and excellent self-motivation.
  • Ability to apply basic chemistry, biology, and physical principles.
  • Willingness to work any shift, including potential 24/7 support for operations.
