Key Responsibilities
- Source and analyze investment opportunities
- Structure and execute the acquisition of real estate deals in Asia-Pacific or any other allocated markets
- Work closely with Keppel local offices to support investment processes and deal execution
- Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions and present financial analysis to key stakeholders
- Perform asset management duties in accordance to approved business plans and manage external relationships, including lenders, consultants and property managers
- Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
- Preparation of investment papers, presentations and other materials as required
- Undertake regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information, to be included in reports when required
- Maintain financial models for private funds (Americas portfolio)
- Involved in supporting and coordinating internal and external debt financing discussions
- Responsible for executing approved business plans and updating the investment committee on a regular basis
- Liaise with local partners on a weekly basis and to strategize new portfolio/asset management initiatives accordingly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate Management or a related field from a reputable university
- Prior experience in investment management / asset management within the real estate sector
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial modelling and presentation skills
- Independent and able to work under tight deadlines
- A strong team player
