Key Responsibilities

  • Source and analyze investment opportunities
  • Structure and execute the acquisition of real estate deals in Asia-Pacific or any other allocated markets
  • Work closely with Keppel local offices to support investment processes and deal execution
  • Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions and present financial analysis to key stakeholders
  • Perform asset management duties in accordance to approved business plans and manage external relationships, including lenders, consultants and property managers
  • Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
  • Preparation of investment papers, presentations and other materials as required
  • Undertake regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information, to be included in reports when required
  • Maintain financial models for private funds (Americas portfolio)
  • Involved in supporting and coordinating internal and external debt financing discussions
  • Responsible for executing approved business plans and updating the investment committee on a regular basis
  • Liaise with local partners on a weekly basis and to strategize new portfolio/asset management initiatives accordingly

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate Management or a related field from a reputable university
  • Prior experience in investment management / asset management within the real estate sector
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong financial modelling and presentation skills
  • Independent and able to work under tight deadlines
  • A strong team player
