Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and review the segment consolidation and support in the preparation of financial and management reporting of the Group, in accordance with group accounting policies
- Work closely with Business Partner Team on segment reporting and forecast/budget
- Support the preparation of SGX results announcements of the Group, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards, company law, and SGX listing rules and best practices
- Support the preparation of Annual Report of the Group
- Support the consolidation of forecasts and budgets
- Provide support on Group Financial Reporting System, following up with consultants on issues raised on the of new Group Financial Reporting System
- Liaise with group auditors on group audit
- Liaise with consultants on corporate activities
- Lead and supervise the Finance team, providing clear guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Oversee the training and development of teams to ensure competency in performing all required tasks
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments when required
Requirements
- Recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification, preferably CA
- 10 - 12 years of relevant working experience, ideally with initial years in a Big 4 audit firm followed by commercial experience, performing similar roles and duties
- Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and other regulatory compliance requirements of listed companies
- Strong leadership experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Self-driven, meticulous, energetic, proactive, good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a keen analytical mind
