Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of periodic financial and management reports for funds under management including but not limited to unaudited financial statements, audit reports, budgets and forecast, actual versus budget, INREV SDDS, quarterly investor reports and capital account statements.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements for entities across multiple jurisdictions including but not limited to Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia and Malaysia.
- Oversee the monitoring of financing covenants and manage audit processes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to management, investors, auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.
- Manage service providers to ensure high-quality financial reporting and operational support.
- Design, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard fund assets, ensure data integrity, and optimise cash management.
- Support investment and divestment activities, including review of transaction documents, execution coordination, and lead complex accounting treatment discussions with auditors and various stakeholders.
Requirements
- ACCA qualification or a Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a fund controller or senior fund accounting role.
- Experience in private equity, real estate, or data centres is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards International (SFRS (I)) and fund structures and operations.
- Proficient in financial analysis with a high level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across functions and levels.
