Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
- Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stake holders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
- Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
- Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
- Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
- Reasonable additional hours required as part of the project delivery requirements.
Requirements
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troubleshooting network.
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects.
- Knowledge of network design, protocols and troubleshooting.
- 2+ years of network engineering and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment, including hands-on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking, and cabling experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or experience working with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration.
- 1+ years of project management, including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks experience.
