Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing valuations of businesses, tangible/intangible assets, and financial instruments (equity, debt securities, derivatives, options) for M&A, litigation support, financial reporting, and restructuring.
- Support the preparation and analysis of complex financial models and interpreting commercial data underlying financial forecasts.
- Assist in researching financial risks to support accurate valuation advice.
- Help prepare proposals and presentations for clients and support business development activities.
- Collaborate with Managers and Senior Managers on client deliverables.
- Mentor and coach junior team members and interns on valuation techniques and project tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in business valuation.
- Solid financial modelling skills, including experience building and working with valuation models.
- Ability to analyse complex financial information and develop insight-driven conclusions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to client servicing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
