Key Responsibilities
- Define the global structure, talent roadmap, and capability development strategy for Manufacturing Test, PCBA Test, and Process Engineering teams.
- Drive innovation by implementing AI-based testing, including ML-driven yield prediction, anomaly detection, and adaptive test sequencing.
- Lead global excellence in PCBA processes (SMT, reflow, rework, etc.), defining global standards, PFMEA, and control plans to drive cost and productivity.
- Partner with Electronics R&D to embed DFT, DFS, and DFM early in product architecture through schematic design influence and boundary scan integration.
- Collaborate with Quality organizations to reduce escapes, align quality gates, and optimize defect Pareto visibility and root-cause elimination.
- Lead test and process readiness for all builds (EVT $ ightarrow$ DVT $ ightarrow$ PVT $ ightarrow$ MP), approving test plans and correlation results.
- Provide technical governance to EMS/CM partners, establishing global expectations for capability and conducting joint improvement projects.
Requirements
- 12-15+ years in electronics manufacturing with deep expertise in PCBA test and process engineering.
- Strong track record leading multi-site/global engineering teams.
- Proven experience deploying AI/ML in manufacturing test or analytics.
- Demonstrated success influencing R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain in fast-paced environments.
- Strong technical foundation in ICT, FCT, boundary scan, SMT, AOI/SPI/AXI, and PCBA processes.
