Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for internal and external customers including Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations, Hardware Vendors, Contractors, and Service Providers.
- Work with various stakeholders to identify waste and reduce/eliminate these wastes through standardization, innovation and simplification.
- Develop software applications as a key tool to advance operational excellence within the teams.
- Handle the complete software development lifecycle; defining, prioritising, designing, building, and testing new features.
- Suggest and develop tools to reduce efforts and improve operational efficiencies using lean tools and software development skills.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles and Operational Excellence.
- Experienced in Python, JavaScript, CICD and CDK.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers (preferred).
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations (preferred).
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy (preferred).
