Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facility Manager and SMEs in planning and daily management of DC Operations and Preventive Maintenance to ensure 100% uptime of critical M&E systems.
  • Manage Shift Teams, conducting daily walkthroughs to record faults and defects in M&E equipment.
  • Track and follow up on all findings requiring repair, replacement, or improvement to ensure resolution within SLAs.
  • Plan and train shift duty personnel to maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality of work, aiming for zero HSE/Security/SLA impacting incidents.
  • Monitor FOC to ensure EPMS, BMS, and Fire System alarms are responded to promptly, containing faults as per the escalation plan.
  • Conduct daily routine checklists to verify no environmental abnormalities and all critical M&E systems are in good working condition.
  • Oversee subcontractors, reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and MSDS to ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures.
  • Maintain logs and records of instrument readings, equipment, and consumable stock levels.
  • Conduct daily morning operational tool-box meetings and provide shift handovers on all outstanding issues.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 or more years of experience in a data center or other Critical Environment.
  • Proficiency in both Electrical and Mechanical systems is required for the Team Lead role.
  • Excellent understanding of data center electrical and mechanical systems (Feeders, Generators, UPS, Chillers, AHUs, Fire Suppression, etc.).
  • Experience with complex automatic control equipment including relay logic, PLCs, and BMS integration.
  • ITE/Nitec/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Visio.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends/public holidays if required.
