Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the Implementation, Delivery, and Maintenance of Finance and Tax systems & related projects.
- Partner with Finance team to review and optimize processes using Workday and other AI/ML solutions.
- Manage BAU aspects of systems, including monitoring and maintaining the operational health of the core systems.
- Ensure all teams adhere to system availability, reliability, and performance meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Work with and manage related vendor partners to deliver to the outcome.
- Identify improvement opportunities and align business requirements with current architecture.
- Act as a crucial bridge between business and technology delivery teams, driving both project delivery and day-to-day operations.
- Lead rollouts of new systems/features/modules/integrations, including AI-powered features (chatbots, recommendations, document intelligence); ensure integration, UAT, and end‑user training.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Engage with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive solutions and resolve issues.
- Oversee vendors; ensure quality, compliance, observability, and timely issue resolution.
- Manage vendor relationships end-to-end; ensure compliance for data privacy, security, and AI usage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on finance and tax-related projects.
- Experience in managing for medium to large complex project delivery, managing work delivered through multiple third parties delivery team.
- Should have good experience in across delivering digital or custom solutions, integrating with package and/or SaaS enterprise solutions.
- Consulting background in Workday Finance delivery preferred.
- Candidates with Workday Finance certification preferred.
- Preferred to have experience in managing multi vendor environment and handling of BAU operations.
- Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
- Experience in delivering and having In-depth knowledge of Financial systems.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong skills in user-centered design and Agile Delivery Methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to various roles and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
