Key Responsibilities

  • Set a clear vision outlining the squad’s purpose and develop a strategy tailored to the squad’s capabilities
  • Organise the co-engineering of the Feature Team working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Define the work (Epics/Features/Stories) and create the team backlog into thoroughly defined and deliverable items without compromising quality standards
  • Prioritise the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives defined by the Initiative Owner
  • Define and verify the Definition of Ready (DoR) and the Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Design and maintain the systems engineering artefacts for the ATM function, including requirements, capability description, functional behaviour and data exchanges
  • Ensure the transversal constraints related to the function are considered (Safety, Human Factor, Performance, Security)
  • Contribute and participate to the technical reviews such as SOR, SFR, FIRR, and SwRR
  • Provide technical oversight to other teams within the project/bid, ensuring that the designed solution is implemented as per the design

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, IT or related discipline
  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering (7+ years) including Requirements, Design, Integration and Verification and Validation
  • Proven experience in the ATM Domain and related standards e.g. ICAO, Eurocontrol
  • Experience with Systems Engineering Standards e.g. ISO/IEC15288
  • Proven experience as Product Owner in an Agile framework
  • Experience in Air Traffic Management in one or more functional areas: Coordination, Surveillance, HMI, Safety Nets, or Simulation
  • Proven experience in the development of products and projects with a particular focus on iterative/agile development
  • Experience with Safety, Security and Human Factors standards and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve effective outcomes in a multidiscipline, multi-culture environment
  • Capability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
  • Postgraduate studies in Systems Engineering (Desirable)
  • Sound judgement and independent decision-making capability where necessary
