Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project progress update presentation for customers.
  • Prepare research project proposals, presentations, and reports, conduct R&D experiments and file technology disclosures.
  • Support in the process equipment set-up, laboratory operations, and inventory management for export control items.
  • Keep a good record of production work orders, laboratory data, methods, results, drawings, etc.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Material Science Engineering, etc.
  • Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals in material science and mechanical engineering are welcome.
  • Experienced with composite moulding machine operations and process troubleshooting.
  • Good track record of scientific publications in top journals and conferences.
  • Familiar with CAD and CAE tools, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of a wide range of forming technologies of metal, composites, and polymer materials.
  • Basic knowledge of material circularity, CAD design, finite-element analysis and algorithm development.
  • Excellent technical presentation and scientific writing skills.
  • Competent in the use of 3D modelling, process simulation and FE structural analysis will be a bonus.
  • Meticulous, fine attention to detail and technically inclined towards process and laboratory work.
  • Comfortable with customer/vendor interactions and handling project negotiations.
