Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic public sector partnerships to support Traveloka's core business objectives
- Build and maintain robust relationships with governments, trade associations, industry coalitions, and public service authorities to shape favorable policies and positions
- Monitor, analyze, and report on global government policy and legislation, identifying emerging trends and drafting issues/position papers for senior business leadership
- Educate internal business leaders and the public on the business and societal impacts of proposed legislative and regulatory changes
- Draft comprehensive policy briefs, prepare actionable reports, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align company goals with government requirements
- Ensure Traveloka's full compliance with all relevant government regulations and policies
- Lead the development and execution of a global Public Policy and Government Relations (PPGR) Plan aligned with the company's long-term business strategy
- Navigate policy changes, provide strategic direction, and intervene hands-on for emergency policy issues
- Interact with senior regulatory bodies and government officials to influence decisions and enable proactive responses to anticipated changes
- Own and strengthen key relationships with government officials and regulators to sustain strategic influence
- Oversee external communications with government bodies, think tanks, international organizations, and related stakeholders to protect Traveloka's brand reputation
- Serve as a trusted adviser to Country Managers and senior leaders to drive cross-market business growth
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Government Administration, Law, International Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in Government Relations and Policy Advocacy, with at least 5 years focused on technology policy issues and quantifiable regional exposure and experience
