Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Biochemical Manufacturing Department to meet departmental goals and objectives.
  • Prepare small equipment, clean, and sterilize vessels for manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare solutions, monitor, and operate biochemical processing equipment.
  • Perform raw materials sampling, dispensing, and environmental monitoring sampling.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in manufacturing areas while adhering to safety and cGMP guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues encountered during manufacturing runs.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Operate computers for process control and accurate data entry.
  • Participate in shift change meetings and collaborate with various support groups.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of related working experience for Diploma equivalent holders (Life Sciences or Engineering discipline).
  • Must possess strong problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of focus on safety, quality, detail orientation, and results.
  • Ability to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as required by the manufacturing schedule.
  • Capability to carry heavy loads up to 25kg.
  • Adherence to all RSTO’s Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements and incident reporting procedures.
